Smooth, stress-free property transactions from contract to settlement.
Overview
How We Can Help With Conveyancing
Property law covers a range of matters, from a standard conveyancing transaction to advice on ownership interests, developments, easements, and titling issues — affecting homeowners, developers, investors, and financial institutions alike.
As your conveyancer we conduct searches, review contract terms, apply for first homeowner grants, prepare transfer documentation, and attend online settlement via PEXA. Selling instead? We advise on your obligations as vendor, prepare the vendor's statement, notify your lender, and liaise with your agent through to settlement.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does conveyancing take?
A standard residential settlement in Victoria typically takes 30–90 days from the date of the contract. Timeframes can vary depending on finance approval, special conditions, and the parties involved.
Do I need a lawyer or can I use a conveyancer?
Both can look after a standard purchase or sale. A licensed conveyancer is well suited to routine residential transactions, while a lawyer can also advise on wider legal issues, complex contract terms or disputes. Across Nesh Legal Group we have both, so we can match you with the right professional for your transaction.
What is a vendor's statement (Section 32)?
A Section 32 statement is a document the seller must provide to buyers before signing, disclosing title details, mortgages, outgoings, and planning information. We review this carefully to ensure you fully understand what you're purchasing.
What is PEXA and do I need it?
PEXA is Australia's electronic property exchange platform. Most Victorian property settlements are now conducted electronically via PEXA. We are fully PEXA-enabled and manage the entire process on your behalf.
What are your conveyancing fees?
